In these very uncertain Covid-19 & Lockdown times, we would like to offer our clients a RISK FREE BOOKING. 

Let us consider the facts of our current situation:

1. Due to Lockdown regulations, all brides have been forced to cancel or reschedule their weddings.   This naturally led to a tremendous amount of stress, and is indeed a very difficult time for both brides, as well as for wedding service providers.   Most wedding service providers tried to reschedule rather than cancel, for obvious reasons. 

2. Unfortunately, reality is that most wedding service providers usually use your booking fees immediately for their daily living expenses, even before your wedding day.  Thus, being faced with a cancellation and having to refund your booking fee, may currently be impossible or very difficult for most service providers.  

3. All our handpicked service providers have managed to organize their business in such a way that they don't have to use your booking fees for their daily living expenses, until after your wedding.  We have worked very hard to get into this position, which has enabled us to fully refund all of our clients who have been forced to cancel their weddings due to Lockdown restrictions. 

We therefore now wish to create a booking option for future brides & grooms that will be RISK FREE.  Yes, I know, RISK FREE might sound like pie in the sky.  BUT, we don’t want you to FEAR losing your booking fee when you are forced to cancel or reschedule due to COVID-19 & Lockdown restrictions (due to an extension of the different levels as determined by government). 

This is what we offer our clients during these very uncertain times:

HOW TO MAKE A RISK FREE BOOKING

1. Booking fee will be 25% of the package you choose, plus a R2500  “peace of mind” fee (Lawyer / admin / banking).

2. Your booking fee will NOT be deposited into our own bank account: it will be done directly into our lawyer’s account for safekeeping.

3. The next 25% of the package you choose will be payable 60 days before your wedding date. 

4. Outstanding 50% of your package is payable 30 days before the wedding.   

CANCELLATION due to Covid-19 & Lockdown restrictions

• Full refund on booking fees for the following service providers. 

• Photographers
• Videographers 
• Musicians
• Entertainment
• DJ

• SERVICES RENDERED: Partial refund on booking fees for the following service providers as part of their services will be rendered before the wedding day.

• Hair & make-up artist  - Trail before the wedding
• Decor and flowers - Need to buy/order flowers/decor items & mock-up table and floral settings before the wedding  
• Co-ordination:  Admin, planning  and other services
• Catering.  All food and beverages are bought before the wedding.   If wedding is cancelled after these expenses, it will be deducted from the paid amounts. 

All services rendered & expenses made by service providers before the cancellation will be deducted from the booking fees paid. Each service providers will provide the couple with a progress report of all expenses and services rendered so the couple will have a clear idea of services rendered and expenses.

Should you be forced to cancel due to COVID-19 & Lockdown restrictions, our lawyer will refund you with the total amount(s) already paid by you after expenses have been deducted for services rendered before cancellation.  Lawyers, admin & bank fees will be deducted.  This will be a total of R2500 for services rendered.

   

RESCHEDULING due to Covid-19 & Lockdown restrictions 

• We would LOVE to accommodate you with a new wedding date.  Obviously service providers will have different rates if your wedding is rescheduled to the next wedding season.  Rates will also be different for low / busy season and week / weekend days.  The couple will have to pay the difference to secure the next date.   

• Should you be forced to reschedule due to COVID-19 & Lockdown restrictions, and we can NOT accommodate your new date, our lawyer will refund you with the total amount(s) already paid by you.  Lawyers, admin & bank fees will be deducted.  This will be a total of R2500 for services rendered.

• If a / all service providers can't accommodate you on a new date, cancellation payments for rendered services will apply.

With this RISK FREE WEDDING BOOKINGS you will appreciate that we are serious to be there for our clients during these very difficult and uncertain times.  We are not here to take advantage of the circumstances, by withholding your booking fees and we believe in being fair to all who are affected due to Lockdown regulations and restrictions.
